Help Desk Specialist

RASH – Albanian Academic Network announces a job vacancy for the position of “Help Desk”.
The Help Desk position provides support and technical assistance to users of the software platforms developed by the Software Department at RASH, used within universities and beyond. It also provides help and assistance in completing tasks or solving problems through diagnostic tests, including remote access to users' computers.
Required qualifications:
Candidates must have completed a 2-year professional diploma, preferably in exact sciences/engineering/technical fields or similar areas, and must possess good computer knowledge/skills.
This is a full-time morning position, so preference is given to candidates who have already graduated from university or college, or are at least in the process of graduating.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following skills:
Good computer skills and the ability to diagnose and solve problems.
Familiarity with both Windows and Mac operating systems and their hardware.
Good customer service skills.
Effective communication skills to assist users of RASH’s software platforms in resolving their issues.
Technical capability to write or update user manuals.
Ability to train users, either locally or remotely, on RASH’s software systems.
Ability to remotely access user computers or software to make changes and fix identified issues.
Commitment to follow through on reported issues with users until fully resolved.
Ability to generate reports to analyze complaints and problems encountered during the use of software platforms.
Good knowledge of the English language.
