On June 3, 2026, the Albanian Academic Network participated in the EUNIS 2026 Congress (European University Information Systems) held in Timișoara, Romania, where one of the key topics discussed was “Digital Technologies and Smart Universities.”

The congress brought together experts, researchers, IT leaders, and higher education professionals from across Europe to explore the latest trends in digital transformation, smart campuses, innovative learning environments, and emerging technologies.

Representing the Albanian Academic Network, Dr. Arjan Xhelaj actively contributed to the exchange of ideas, experiences, and best practices for building smarter, more connected, and technology-driven universities.
