The Albanian Academic Network proudly participated in TNC26, Europe’s leading conference for research and education networking, bringing together experts, innovators, and digital transformation leaders from across the continent, organized by GÉANT and held in Helsinki, Finland, from 8–12 June 2026.

During the event, representatives of the Albanian Academic Network (RASH) engaged in discussions on advanced digital infrastructures, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and the future of connected universities, while strengthening collaboration with partners from the international research and education community.

Dr. Arjan Xhelaj, CEO of RASH, delivered a presentation at the Community Hub on the Twinning Programme and its role in strengthening international collaboration. RASH made the first contact with Brazil's NREN, the Rede Nacional de Ensino e Pesquisa, hashtag RNP, discussing the possibility of further collaboration under the GÉANT Twinning Programme.

Together, we continue to support innovation, knowledge exchange, and the digital transformation of higher education and research in Albania.
